Details of Vacancy :

Age Limit :

The applicant must not be below 20 years and not more than 27 years as on 01.01.2021. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates of West Bengal only. Upper age limit is also relaxable upto 35 years for departmental candidates of Kolkata Police only having requisite qualification. The upper age limit shall further be relaxed for the departmental candidates by 5 (five) years in case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates and by 3 (Three) years in case of Other Backward Classes candidates

Pay Scale :

Pay Scale of Level – 10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 32,100 – Rs. 82,900).

Education Qualification :

The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.

Language :

• The applicant must be able to speak, read and write Bengali Language. However, this provision will not be applicable to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.
• For the applicant of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong District, the provisions laid down in the West Bengal Official language Act, 1961 will be applicable.

Application window for submitting application through on-line or downloading of off-line application form with printed challan of Punjab National Bank (Erstwhile United Bank of India)/ India Post will remain operative for the period from 19.07.2021 (from 00:00 hrs.) to 19.08.2021 (5 P.M.).

However, the last date of depositing Application and/ or Processing Fees only in respect of on-line applicants using Punjab National Bank (Erstwhile United Bank of India) challan, will be 21.08.2021.
