Name of post Academic Qualification Teaching and Research Experience Professor- Medical (08 years of Post PG Experience) A postgraduate qualification MD/ MS/ DNB in the concerned subject as per National Medical Commission (NMC) Erstwhile Medical Council of India regulations. 1)  Associate Professor in the subject for 3 years in a permitted/approved/recognized medical college/ institution with three Research publications (at least two as Associate Professor) (only original papers, meta-analysis, systematic reviews. And case series that are published in journals included in Medline, Pubmed Central, Citation index, Sciences Citation index, Expanded Embase, Scopus. Directory of Open access journals (DoAj) will be considered. The author must be amongst first three or should be the Corresponding author. Should have completed the Basic course in Medical Education Technology from Institution(s) designated by (MCI) NMC.Should have completed the Basic course in biomedical research from Institution(s) designated by (MCI) NMC. The author must be amongst first three or should research project in lieu of publication/authorship can be considered only if the person is Principal or Co-Principal investigator (P1/CoPI) of a research project funded by a national research body such as Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR). Department of Science & Technology (DST), Department of Bio- Technology (DBT) or any such body. Should have completed the Basic course in Medical Education Technology from Institution(s) designated by (MCI) NMC.

In case of DNB candidate equated to MD/ MS in terms of clause 4A of Schedule-I in addition to Resident/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/ Tutor/ or 3 year teaching experience in the subject as work experience gained during DNB training, one year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognized/permitted medical college. Assistant professor- (Dental) M.D.S/ Requisite recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject. Three years teaching experience in the subject in a permitted / approved/recognized medical college as Resident/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/ Tutor. Assistant professor- (Non-Medical) M.sc (Medical) with Ph.D. (Medical) M.sc (Medical) with D.sc. (Medical) In the concerned subject. Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical college as Resident/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/ Tutor. Tutor/Demonstrator MBBS from any Institution/ University recognized by the NMC.
Must be registered under the State/ NMC Registration Act. Preference will be given to a Postgraduate candidate in the concerned subject. In the subject of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology candidates possessing M.Sc (Medical) qualification in the subject concerned are also eligible to apply. — Senior Resident PG Degree/ Diploma (MD/ MS/ DNB/ Diploma) in the concerned specialty from any Institute University recognized / approved/ permitted by the NMC. —- Junior Resident MBBS from any Institution/ University recognized by the NMC. Must be registered under the State/NMC Registration Act. —
