About University :
The Uttarkhand State Act established the university in 1973. It has two campuses in Nainital and Almora and thirty-five affiliate universities in Kumaun. The University has carried out a B.Ed course entrance exam. Another campus of the university is being established in Bhimtal to provide for academic, professional and vocational education.
