About Meghalaya PSC:- 

Meghalaya Public Service Commission (PSC) came into existence on September 14th, 1972. The first Office of the Commission was housed in the building of the Public works Department of Lower Lachumiere, Shillong. Shri. G.C. Momin Was The First Chairman. At Present, Shri. Leadingson M. Sangma. Is The  Chairman Of The Commission. Meghalaya PSC Is The Commission Of The Meghalaya State which Basically Hire The Eligible and desired Candidates For The Public service. The Organizational Structure Of The Commission Consist Of One Chairman (Head Of The Commission) And Four Additional Members.

About Recruitment:-

The Meghalaya Public Sevice Commission (PSC) Has Recently Released The Notification About The Recruitment Of 327 Vacancies For Different Posts Such as Lower Division Accountant, Lower Division Assistant Etc. Candidates Can Apply For This Post From 17/12/20 To 02/02/21 Till 05:00 PM. Meghalaya PSC Will Conduct More Than One Offline Written  Exams Of Multiple Objective Type Questions For This Post. A Personal Interview Will Also Be Conducted If Required. The Exam Will Be Held At different Centres.

Total No. Of Posts:-  327 Vacancies

Selection Procedure:–

The Final Selection/Recommendation Of Suitable Candidates Against The Vacancies Notified In This Advertisement Shall Be Made By The Commission Through Any Of The Following Processes:-

1. Typing Speed, English Composition and Stenography Test, in recruitment to post of Typist and Stenographer
(All Grades) as the case may be.
2. I. Written Examination (Where syllabus has been provided by the concerned Department) => Personal Interview.
II. Screening Test => Personal Interview.
III. Screening Practical Test => Personal Interview.
IV. Preliminary Screening Test => Main Examination => Personal Interview.
V. Physical Efficiency Test => Preliminary Screening Test => Main Examination => Personal Interview.
VI. Any other method as may be adopted by the Commission.
It will be the discretion of the Commission to cancel any processes mentioned above if found that illegal/unfair means have been adopted during the conduct of the recruitment process.

Thus these Are Different Steps For The Selection Process. But The Commission Have The Right To Change The Selection Procedure. It Means That Whenever In Future, The Selection Committee Want To Increase Or Decrease The Number Of  Selection Steps, They can Change It.

18 – 27 For All Post Except Computer Programmer

For Computer Programmer – 21 – 27

Application Fees:–

The Application Fees Is Half the rate for SC/ST who are permanent residents of the State of Meghalaya.

As Per Reservation Policy of the Government of Meghalaya.
