Online applications are invited with effect for Selection Test for Graduate Teacher (STGT 2020) / Selection Test for Post Graduate Teacher (STPGT 2020) from Indian Nationals having permanent residence in Tripura for selection of candidates for recruitment as Graduate Teacher (for classes IX-X, XI-XII), under Secondary Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura and Under Graduate Teacher (for classes I-V) & Graduate Teacher (for classes VI-VIII) under Elementary Education Directorate, Education (School) Department,Government of Tripura. The details of the vacant posts are given as under:

Details of Vacancy :

Graduate Teacher (Secondary) For Classes IX-X – (STGT-2020)

Post-Graduate Teacher For Classes XI-XII – (STPGT-2020)

UGT & CGT-2020

Age Limit :

Age limit is up to 40 (forty) years as on 27.11.2020. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST/PH category and Government Servants provided that Government Employees belonging to SC/ST/PH category will not get relaxation over and above general relaxation of 5 years available to them (SC/ST certificate issued by competent authority of Tripura will only be valid). Upper age limit is also relaxable for Ex-Serviceman (ESM) as per norms.

Pay Scale :

• Under-Graduate Teacher (for Class I-V) : Rs. 16,050/- (Revised) fixed per month being 5%o f the basic pay as per Level-7 of Tripura State Pay Matrix 2018.
• Graduate Teacher (for Class VI-VIII) : Pay: Rs. 20,4751-(revised) fixed per month being 75% of basic pay as per Level-9 of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018.
• Graduate Teacher For Classes IX-X – Rs. 20,475/-(revised) fixed per month being 75 % of basic pay (Level-9) of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018.
• Post-Graduate Teacher For Classes XI-XII – Rs. 26,015/-(revised) fixed per month being 75% of basic pay (Level-10) of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018.

Education Qualification :

Graduate Teacher For Classes IX-X –

Graduate/Post Graduate from recognised university with at least 50% marks in either graduation or post-graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognised institution.

OR

Graduate/Post Graduate from recognised university with at least 45% marks in either graduation or post-graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognised institution {in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start new course or training). Regulations 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007}

OR

4 years degree of B. A. Ed. / B.Sc. ED. from any National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognised institution.

Post-Graduate Teacher For Classes XI-XII –

Post Graduate Degree in the relevant/allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by the Equivalence Committee) withat least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognised university and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) from a NCTE recognised institution.

OR

Post Graduate in the relevant/allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by the Equivalence Committee) with at least 45% marks (or its equivalent)from recognised university and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognised institution {in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start new course or training). Regulations 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007}

OR

Post Graduate Degree in the relevant/allied subject(equivalency of which to be determined by the Equivalence Committee) with at least 50% marks(or its equivalent) from recognised university and B. A. Ed. /B.Sc. Ed. from any NCTE recognised institution.

Graduate Teacher (for Class I-V)

• Senior Segondary {or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year diploma in education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known).
  OR.
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at leasl 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (or one year diploma in education up to academic session 2004-05).
  OR.
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of. Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.).
  OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent)with at leas,t 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education(Special Education).
  OR
• Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year diploma in education up to academic session 200a-05)(by whatever name known).
  OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
  OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks (Relaxed Qualification as per MHRD Notification, Dated: 04.01,2019).
  OR
• Graduation (Relaxed Qualification as per MHRD Notification, Dated: 04.01.2019).AND

Graduate Teacher (for Class VI-VIII)

• Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known).
  OR
• Graduation with at least 50zo marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
  OR
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A. / B. Sc. Ed or B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed.
  OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education).OR’ Graduation {Relaxed Qualification as per MHRD Notification, Dated:04.01.2019).
  AND
• Passed Tripura – Teachers’ Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper-II and obtained certificate issued by TRBT.

Application Fee :

• Graduate Teacher (Secondary) & Post-Graduate Teacher- The test fees for UR category applicant is Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) and for reserved category (SC/ST/PH) applicant is Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only). Banking Charge may apply.
• Under Graduate Teacher & Graduate Teacher – Rs.100/- for Unreserved Category and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PH category.

Mode Of Payment :

Fee can be paid only online through Net Banking, Credit or Debit cards.
