About Recruitment:
The LIC recently announced the hiring of more than 8500 Assistant Posts (Clerk). LIC is a corporation with an official name. All candidates who are eligible have completed their online application form for these posts. The application process takes place online from 17 September 2019 to 01 October 2019. About Exam:
The written examination will be requested from all candidates. On the 21 & 22 October 2019, the Preliminary Exam was held. The published analysis was of the form of objective. The candidates will be called for the key exam scheduled to begin on 22.12.2019. The following is the table with more details on the test.

Admit Card :
Candidates will have to visit the website for download of Call letters for Online Key Review on a given link host on LIC’s web site under the heading “Careers” http:/www.licindia.in/careers.htm. An information will also be sent by e-mail / SMS to download the call letter. The candidate can access the call letter’s window once the applicant clicks on the link in question. No letters of call will be sent by mail or any other mode. To download the call letters from the website referred, the candidates will be required.
The candidate is required to use
- Registration Number/Roll number,
- Password/Date of Birth for downloading the call letter.
Candidate should affix recent recognizable photograph on the call letter preferably the same as provided during registration and appear at the examination centre with…

- Photo Identity Proof as stipulated in the Call Letter and Photocopy of the same Photo Identity Proof as brought in original.
Mains Exam Pattern:-
- Total 200 marks, Mains Exam is made up of 200 questions.
- Time The exam time is two hours and thirty minutes.
- Each test must be qualified by the candidates.
- In the central evaluation objective tests there will be negative points for wrong answers. For every incorrect reply, 1⁄4 marks will be deducted. If a question is left unanswered, i.e. the applicant will not answer it; the question will not be subject to penalties. After the deduction of the points, the marks earned by the applicant for wrong answers are obtained in each chapter. In each of the objective tests, candidates will need to qualify.
NOTE: Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks. Adequate number of candidates in each category depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main examination.
