Seshasayee, is a Chartered Accountant, who has been Managing Director of Ashok Leyland Ltd. since 1998 and is now the Non-executive Vice Chairman of Ashok Leyland effective from 1.4.2011. He had held Directorship of ICICI Bank Ltd. from 06 May 1997 to October 31, 2003. During that tenure, he also held the position of Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board. Mr. Seshasayee has also been a member of various committees of the Society of Indian Automobile Industries. Mr. Seshasayee is the Past President of the Confederation of the Indian Industry.
