Kerala PG Nursing 2020 Eligibility
Nativity: Applicants should have satisfied any of the following conditions:
- Indian Citizen of Kerala Origin.
- Candidates, who are sons/daughters of Non-Keralite parents and have obtained a B.Sc Nursing Degree from any of the Nursing Colleges in Kerala State. But they will not be eligible for Communal/PD reservation benefits.
Academic Eligibility
- Candidates should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi, Cochin, Kannur University and KUHS, or a regular course at other KUHS recognized universities. Applicants who have completed the BSc Nursing Degree program would be able to enter.
- Or Candidates who have passed the Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi or Kannur University and KUHS Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing or standard courses of other universities accepted by KUHS after having obtained the +2 Science Subject General Nursing and Midwifery Degree. (Distance / Correspondence Courses are not valid for admission to MSc Nursing)
- The applicant should have obtained registration with the Council of Kerala Nurses and Midwives, and a copy of the certificate of registration shall be submitted at the time of application. Candidates who have studied outside Kerala shall submit, together with their application, a copy of the registration certificate of the Nursing Council concerned of the State from which they have qualified. The candidates selected will produce their certificate of registration in the original obtained at the time of admission from the Council of Kerala Nurses and Midwives.
- Candidates who have passed B.Sc. Degree in Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (Regular Course) from Universities outside Kerala and any of the Deemed Universities should produce the equivalency certificate from any of the Universities in Kerala, at the time of counseling.
Work Experience
Candidates who earned their B.Sc. At the time of counseling, the Degree in Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (Regular Course) from Universities outside Kerala and any of the Deemed Universities should produce a certificate of equivalence from any of the Universities in Kerala.
Age Criteria:
The upper age limit for General Merit candidates shall be 46 years and for Service candidates 49 years as on the date of notification of inviting application
Kerala M.Sc Nursing 2020 Application Fee
Application fees for general candidates are Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) and Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for SC / ST candidates and those eligible for SC / ST benefits as per G.O (Ms) No.25/05 / SCSTDD of 20.06.2005. Service applicants seeking membership in General Quota should also pay additional Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only). Applications can only be submitted electronically, and all relevant documents are only to be uploaded. There are two payment options available for remitting the Online Payment and e-Challan application fees.
