Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following 547 posts of Junior Draftsman (Civil, Mechanical and Architecture). Candidates Can Check the Vacancy Details, Age Limit & Other Related Information From Below……

Details of Vacancy :

• Junior Draftsman (Civil) – 529 Posts
• Junior Draftsman (Mechanical) – 13 Posts
• Junior Draftsman (Architecture) – 05 Posts

Age Limit :

• Candidate should have attained the age of 18 years but should not be older than 37 years on 1st Jan, 2021.
• The maximum age limit for Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of the State of Punjab will be 42 years.
• The maximum age limit for State and Central Government employees will be 45 years with exemption from the upper age limit.
• In case of ex-servicemen residing in Punjab, the upper age limit shall be in accordance with the Punjab Recruitment of EX-Servicemen Rules, 1982 as amended from time to time. This age limit is considered after deducting the period of service rendered from his age in the Army that he meets the conditions of the age limit.
• The maximum age limit for disabled persons residing in Punjab will be 47 years with a waiver of 10 years.
• The upper age limit for widows, divorcees and certain other categories of married women as per instructions issued by the Government of Punjab vide Letter No. 1/50/83-5PP(1368)/3454 dated 23.04.1984 will be relaxed up to 40 years.

Pay Scale :

Grade Pay Rs. 25,500/-

Education Qualification :

Junior Draftsman (Civil) –

• Should have passed examination of Matriculation with Punjabi as one of the subjects from a recognised University or Institute ; and
• Should possess two years Certificate of Draftsman Civil from an Industrial Training Institute.

Junior Draftsman (Mechanical) –

• Should have passed examination of Matriculation with Punjabi as one of the subjects from a recognised University or Institute ; and
• Should possess two years Certificate of Draftsman Mechanical from an Industrial Training Institute.

Junior Draftsman (Architecture) –

• Should possess Three Years’ Diploma in Architectural Assistantship, awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or from a recognised university or institution.

Application Fee :

• General Category – Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand Rupees Only)
• SC/BC/EWS – 250/- (Two Hundred Fifty Rupees Only)
• Ex-Servicemen & Dependent – 200/- (Two Hundred Rupees Only)
• Physically Handicapped – Rs. 500/- (Rupees Four Hundred Only)
