About Recruitment :
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) had invited online applications for recruitment to 405 posts of Excise Constable (Abkari Sipahi). As per the selection process decided by the commission in notification, first of all Screening Written Exam was conducted for these posts. Lacs of 12th/ Graduate Candidates applied for these Posts as minimum Qualification was Intermediate. After Completing Online Application Process, UPSSSC hold Written Examination for the Posts mentioned Above.
About Exam :

UPSSSC Excise Constable PET/PST Date → From 16 February 2021
Selection Process :
Selection of Excise Constable will be purely based on merit of total 80 marks. In First Phase a Screening Written Exam will be conducted. Second Phase will contain two stages i.e. physical test (60 marks) and interview (20 marks) for selection.

Candidates who had applied against these posts will go under the selection process as pre-decided by the commission. They have to appear for a Exam for which they must have a valid Admit Card. Physical Standard Test
Candidates found eligible for Physical Test will be called for physical measurements. Minimum requirements of physical standard is given below:
Height :-
Male (all) – 167.6 cms
Female (Gen) – 152 cms
Female (SC/ST) 147 cms
Chest :-
Male – 80 to 85 cms
Weight :-
Female – 45 KGs
Physical Efficiency Test
There will be a physical test for eligible candidates which contains various activities i.e. race, long jump and cricket ball throw for both male and female. Marks will be awarded to the candidates out of 60 (20 for each) as per the following scale :
